▼Dry and damp pressing of Al2O3 pipes
Alumina Al2O3 ceramic tubes can be produced by dry and wet pressing. Dampening is used for components that have a complicated geometry. Dry pressing, on the other hand, is often sufficient for the production of simple components. Alumina tubes can be produced by both processes, depending on the geometry and wall thickness.
▼Isostatic pressing of Al2O3 pipes
Isostatic pressing of alumina tubes exerts pressure on the component from all sides. This achieves a homogeneous compression of the green mush. This process is particularly suitable if the green part is to be mechanically processed after shaping.
